Have you been searching for cooking instructions for prime rib roast and still can’t find a recipe that will give you the juicy and tender prime rib roast that you deserve? The reason may be that recipes only give you the basic ingredients for cooking and not the actual cooking instructions.
Let’s start with cooking instructions for prime rib roast that begins long before the day you prepare your prime rib. First, you should choose the prime rib that will give adequate portions for each guest that will be attending your dinner party. You may have to look for rib eye instead of prime rib, some local grocery stores label prime rib as rib eye. You can ask the butcher if he would remove most of the fat from the roast that you choose. This will save you time preparing the roast. If you can not get the butcher to remove the excess fat, then you will have to trim it when you get it home. You should leave just a little bit of fat on the roast for added flavor.
The next step in your cooking instructions is to create a seasoning rub or paste. You can use ingredients such as coarse salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and even honey. Slit the roast on top about ½ inch deep all over the top and sides. Rub the seasoning rub or paste on the entire roast, including the bottom and sides, anywhere the meat is exposed. Place in a roasting pan or baking dish with a lid. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Most cooking instructions include using a meat thermometer and this is the best way to ensure that your prime rib is cooked to perfection and not overcooked. The internal temperature for rare prime beef should be 130 degrees Fahrenheit, for medium rare around 140 degrees Fahrenheit, medium around 150 degrees Fahrenheit and for well done between 160 and 170 degrees Fahrenheit.
For prime rib roast that is boneless the basic cooking time is for medium is a 3 to 4 pound prime rib roast should be cooked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 23 to 30 minutes per pound, for a 4 to 6 pound prime rib roast you should cook it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 to 20 minutes per pound and for a 8 to 10 pound prime rib roast you should cook it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 13 to 15 minutes per pound. Remember, this is only an estimate and all oven do not cook the same. You should still use a meat thermometer to ensure the desired doneness.
The last cooking instructions, and maybe the most important, is to let the roast sit for around 15 minutes before carving. The roast will still cook and the internal temperature will raise another 10 degrees but this sitting time is important to hold in the juices and flavor.

Everyone needs money. If the amount in the paycheck is not enough and quitting the current job is not an option, something has to be done to earn the extra dough. Here are a few fun ideas to help pay for those other expenses.
1. A lot of retail companies employ the use of mystery shoppers to check on the quality of service in the establishment. The person will act like a regular customer and make a purchase then afterwards reports back to the client the events that transpired.
There are over 150 companies doing this in the United States and Canada. If the person loves to shop, it will be fun to join the organization that helps the retail store and at the same time get paid while going to the mall.
2. Another cool idea will be getting paid to talk. The individual probably noticed those people standing in the grocery or in the mall handling out samples and talking about a certain product.
These people don’t do this for free and are paid by the hour as well as commission for each product that was sold.
3. Some people are paid to go to a party. A lot of direct selling companies do this such as Tupperware and Pampered Chef that will let the agent do a product demonstration in the hopes that sales will be made after showing it to prospective customers.
This can also be done by getting a few products and having the party in the comforts of one’s home first by entertaining the neighbors and then getting referrals from these people.
4. Before movies are shown in the big screen, a test market first watches the film. These people are not picked off the street but hired to see it, which will give a good indication how this will do in the box office.
This is also done when hosting a game show live on television. Those who love films or be one of those in the crowd can sign up and be one of these individuals.
5. Advertising is not only done on television, billboards or the radio. Advertisers can also do this for the car one was at home. All the individual has to do is drive the vehicle in high traffic areas and get paid for the public to see it.
6. Freedom of speech is one of the many privileges Americans enjoy. Instead of sharing it with friends or officemates, the person can also make extra money can voicing this out when a company is engaged in focus group discussions when conducing a market study.
This covers a wide range of topics, which includes music and fashion. The individual will just have to sign up with a market research company to be called when the services are needed. The ideas mentioned won’t take that much of the person’s time and will also not make one filthy rich. All it can do is make the individual earn some extra money and at the same time have fun doing it.
Before signing up for any of these voluntary programs, it will be a good idea to do some research first. This will make the person understand what needs to be done and how will one be compensated.

The holiday frenzy is now less than three months away. The shopping centers will soon be filled with gift givers searching high and low for that special item for that special someone. This is also a time that people are desperately searching for a way to make some extra Christmas cash.
This is the perfect time to advertise if you run a business or website. It’s never too early to start marketing for the holidays. Really, the best rule of thumb is to start thinking about your marketing efforts five to six months ahead of time. Get your creative juices flowing in high gear and start making a promotional plan that best fits your business.
Below are some offline marketing tips to get you started:
We all know that October, November, and December are among the busiest shopping months for the holiday season. That is the ideal time to create flyers and business cards to pass out or display in various high-traffic locations.
Place flyers and business cards on bulletin boards in shopping centers, grocery stores, your local post office, schools, college campuses, restaurants, and coffee shops.
Another ideal place to leave a flyer is right inside your shopping cart when you’ve finished shopping. You may be surprised at how many people look at these, especially bargain hunters.
What about leaving your business cards in restrooms in various hot spots such as shopping malls, theatres, restaurants, libraries, laundry mats, airports, and hospitals? Really just anywhere that people will see them will suffic . The idea is to get your business or website in front of as many people as possible.
Other great locations include banks, hair salons, daycare centers, motels, churches, floral and bridal shops, doctors and dental offices, and the list can literally go on and on. These are all excellent places to promote.
Another good opportunity…especially if you sell craft items as your business–attend craft shows. Craft shows are huge around Christmas time. Always have business cards readily on display along side your crafts. Another thought…drop a couple of your cards down in your customers shopping bags. You can also browse the other booths and pass your cards out to the other crafters.
Here is a bit of creativity for you. If you are in the direct selling business, stuff those stockings with some of your small favorites along with a business card. Votive candles work well for this. Never forget to include your card with the name of your business/website and a telephone number. Do you make and sell jewelry? This is also a great idea for a stocking stuffer.
Make cookies or pastries and place them in decorative tins along with your card…this can also be a great gift idea with a personal touch. Say for instance, you are a pampered chef representative…food gift items with your card attached would be the perfect idea for promotion.
When making out your Christmas cards, don’t forget to include one of your business cards. When having lunch with a friend…spark up a conversation and share your business with them and always offer your card. Make it a habit of keeping a stash of flyers and cards in your car at all times. You never know when the opportunity will present itself.
For instance, you run into an old friend or acquaintance in a coffee shop you haven’t seen in awhile…you’re always ready on the spot to share and promote yourself. Be excited about what you do. Your friend will most likely be interested in learning more. This could also lead to a new recruit.
Another idea would be office supply stores. Visit them and ask if you could display your business cards and flyers preferably close to where the cards and flyers are created in the store. Excellent advertising if this were possible. I bet if you purchase your cards and flyers there in big quantities, they would allow this. You never know unless you try.
Now…let’s see what YOU can come up with.
Make your offline marketing unique. Promotion ideas are endless. It is really all up to you…the ball is in your court. Offline marketing is what YOU make of it. Try and be as creative and resourceful as you can.
And you know…the best offline marketing method ever is “word of mouth.” Just start talking about your business among others and that gets THOSE people talking as well, and so on.
The holiday season is the very best time to put your marketing efforts into full motion and earn that much-needed extra income. There are many, many techniques at your fingertips. Get out there and use them. Motivate, create, and thrive.
Happy holidays to you!

Barbecuing using a charcoal barbecue grill is definitely one of the best ways there is to barbecue. Of course there are several other ways to barbecue, like grilling, or using a gas grill. But barbecue grilling enthusiast will insist that using charcoal is one of the best ways to get a natural flavorful taste when barbecuing. To give you a quick overview of what a charcoal barbecue grill is, it is simply a barbecue grill that uses charcoal as its main source of heat in order to cook the meat slowly and thoroughly. This is one of the reasons why it is favored over other methods of cooking meat. Cooking the meat in low heat insurers that it will be very flavorful.
In order for you to ensure that you are using your charcoal barbecue grill to the best of its ability, you need to know exactly how to prepare a grill before using it and also how to clean it once you have finished with it. In this article I am going to give you a few pointers you can use to prepare your barbecue grill for use with charcoal.
Do not put charcoal lighter fluid on charcoals that are already hot
The reason you don’t want to put charcoal lighter fluid on charcoal that are already hot is because you may end up causing an unnecessary flare up. This can be very dangerous as it may cause you to suffer unnecessary burns. There is another method you can use that is much safer.
How to do this properly
What you want to do is pour a little charcoal lighter fluid over the charcoals and let it absorb for a few minutes. I would say about 10 minutes is optimal. If you do this you won’t have to worry about trying to relight cold after a lighter fluid runs out and the fire dies. This way you will not have to worry about applying charcoal lighter fluid to already hot coals.
How to know charcoals are ready to use
A really good way to know that your charcoal is ready to use, then check them a few minutes after you have applied the charcoal lighter fluid and lit a barbecue grill. If you see that the majority of the charcoals are white hot and ashy then you know that you are ready to apply the meat for cooking. Applying the meat too soon to a charcoal barbecue grill will result in certain areas of the grill being hotter than others; this will cause your meat to cook unevenly. So make sure that the charcoals are white hot before applying the food.
A neat little trick
Another neat little trick you can use to see if your charcoals are ready for use is to hold your hand over your grill and see how long you are able to hold it there. If you are able to hold it there for more than 2 seconds then it is probably not hot enough. If you cannot hold it there for more than 2 seconds then it is hot enough.
Charcoal barbecue grills continue to be the one and only choice for a lot of people who are serious about barbecuing. The meat that it produces and the excellent flavor are absolutely classic and mouthwatering.Â

Most people agree that grilling with charcoal produces better-tasting food than grilling with gas. The theories on why this difference exists are numerous, and some even question whether scientifically there is a real basis for this difference. But whatever the reason, most people, even gas grill owners, agree that all things being equal, charcoal grilled food tastes better than gas grilled food.
So why do gas grills outsell charcoal grills? One word: convenience. There is a perception that charcoal grills are messier, more temperamental, and require more time in preparation and cleanup than gas grills. And it’s true. However, this “convenience gap†can be significantly narrowed by choosing wisely when buying a charcoal grill, because just a few key features can have a substantial effect on how time-consuming and difficult your grilling experience will be.
When shopping for your next charcoal grill, be sure to look for the following features:
Ash cleaning system. The term “messy†often comes up when people complain about charcoal grilling. One of the messiest things about charcoal is cleaning out the ashes. Some cheaper charcoal grills have to be turned over and dumped to empty the ashes, or you have to shovel the ashes out. Better grills have a system where the ashes can be brushed through an opening in the bottom and discarded. Other grills have an ash pan that holds the charcoal, and the ashes are easily emptied by lifting the pan of ashes out of the grill and dumping them. Either mechanism is fine and will greatly decrease your clean-up time.
Adjustably fire control. With a gas grill, you control the heat of a flame with the turn of a knob for instantaneous adjustment. While advanced grillers can control the heat of a charcoal fire by manipulating the air intake from the vents, with many charcoal grills, you are pretty much stuck with the heat of the fire you built. However, many of the better charcoal grills allow for quick heat adjustment, and this is another must-have feature. Like the ash cleaning systems, there are two main methodologies. Either the grill allows the food grate to be lowered or lifted to a choice of heights above the fire, or the charcoal pan can be adjusted closer or further away from the food. Both work the same way, by adjusting how close your food is to the charcoal.
Charcoal adding/rearranging options. No matter how well you plan, there are going to be times when you need more fire than you originally thought, or you need the fire in a different part of the grill. That’s easy to manage with a gas grill, simply by turning the various burners on or off to rearrange the fire. When it comes to charcoal grilling, adding charcoal to meal in progress can be tricky. Most of the time the grate you need to lift in order to add or move charcoal just happens to be full of food. That means it has to be emptied first, or you risk the dreaded “hot dog roll-off.†Keep an eye out for grill grates that are hinged, which allow you to lift the part of the grate not holding food. In other grills, the grate area is made up of more than one smaller grate that sit side by side. This way you can remove a single section while your food rests on the others. Finally, some premium grills have an opening on the side from which you can add more charcoal without disturbing your food at all.
Choosing a grill with these three features will eliminate most of the hassle attributed to charcoal grilling, and significantly reduce the “convenience gap†between charcoal and gas.

This recipe is a slight alteration of the pampered chef fruit pizza recipe. I added a couple things that I think make it better and I hope you enjoy it! If you enjoy it, please share with a friend!
Here are the Ingredients you will need:
1 refrigerated raw sugar cookie dough tube
3 Tablespoons of cinnamon
2 tablespoons orange liqueur or juice
1 (12 ounce) container soft cream cheese
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 small cans mandarin oranges
4 medium bananas, sliced
Strawberries
Nuts
To make the glaze for your fruit pizza you will need:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp corn syrup
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp strawberry gelatin
Here are the instructions for preparation:
First you need to turn on and Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Always make sure there is nothing in the stove that could catch on fire.
Use caution when placing your pizza into the oven so as not to burn yourself.
Coat 12-inch pizza or springform pan with nonstick cooking spray. Press cookie dough evenly into bottom of pan and bake 15-20 minutes. Cool Completely.
In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese with sugar, liqueur or juice and vanilla.
Spread over crust to 1-inch from edge.
Arrange fruit and nuts on top. I think making the nuts and fruits as diced and sliced as possible make it a better consistency. (I’m like that with sausage on my pizza too)
Glaze: Cook water, sugar, corn syrup, and cornstarch together until thick and clear. Stir in gelatin. Cool before putting on fruit. Once you have your fruit on top, sprinkle your cinnamon over the fruits and you are finished! Refrigerate before serving to your guests.

For the chef looking for a fun way to fill a little free time, the cooking game is the most enjoyable way to do it. Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, a chef can learn a few different techniques and tips and race the clock, or other competitors! Whether it is word games, puzzles, or video games, the chef has endless options to wile away a few hours.
Nintendo has a game called Cooking Mama in which the contender races the clock trying to prepare quality food. What’s great about this game is it also offers tips and tricks on the screen that you can use in your real kitchen. The player must chop vegetables, fry, grate, peel, mash and all the other things a cook does in their real kitchen. This game has amazing interactive capabilities where a touch screen is used to put together an omelet, and you must blow into a mike to cool off the food.
The virtual chef stars with 15 recipes in their arsenal and as their skills increase, so does their recipe stash, up to 60 are available! And if 60 aren’t enough, the player can even experiment to create their own new recipes. There are more than three hundred different ingredients available from more than ten countries, such as Spain, Japan, India and France.
The challenge in this game is the judges. There are bronze, silver, and gold medals available for the winners. If the judging is too stressful, gamers can also play without the option of judging to experiment with new foods and recipes. There is also a multi-player option for the chef who wants to challenge his friends to a cook-off.
If this doesn’t sound like the game you’re looking for, there are still more options. Many websites offer cooking themed games for the chef to try their hand at; hangman, word searches, and jigsaw puzzles are all available offering a challenge. One game available online is the Better Barbeque Challenge in which individuals flip burgers to earn points. If the burger is taken off too soon, the meat is raw and no points are earned, if it’s too late, the burgers are burned.
More ingredients are also added to turn up the heat, and the thermometer must always be watched to make sure food is properly prepared. Regardless of which game is right for you, there is sure to be one out there that fits the cooking bill.

Seafood restaurants can be a little tricky to judge and find a good one. There is an art to all cooking, but the preparing of seafood seems to be a delicate art that some restaurants just can’t handle. You may have to do some searching around before you find the seafood restaurant that you enjoy in the Los Angeles area.
Seafood restaurants can be a fine dining experience or they can be a very casual dining restaurant. Just because a restaurant has a casual atmosphere does not mean that they don’t serve fabulous food. You should determine which type of seafood you are looking for when you go out to a local Los Angeles restaurant. Fried foods are a popular treat among many people, but others are looking for something that is more delicately prepared.
There are many seafood restaurants in the Los Angeles area for you to choose from. Get a listing of the various restaurants that are in your local area and take a look at the menu. You may be able to see the menu online in a number of cases, but smaller restaurants may not be online.
Many times you can find a great restaurant just by being out and about in the Los Angeles area. Look for seafood restaurants as you are driving through seaside towns that have access to fresh fish regularly. These restaurants usually have the very best food. There are also a number of chain restaurants that serve seafood, but these restaurants may not be using fresh fish in their menu, but instead frozen fish that is used throughout all of the restaurants in the chain.
You may have to sit through some mediocre restaurants before you find the one that is your very favorite, but this is a fun way to locate the best seafood restaurant. Why not plan a night out once a week or month to eat in a great new restaurant. You can also find some fabulous seafood in another type of restaurant that doesn’t necessarily specialize in seafood. A Vietnamese restaurant is one example of this type of restaurant. There are many Vietnamese dishes that are made with fresh fish and vegetables.
Seafood dishes can also be found in other fine dining restaurants in Los Angeles. Many of these restaurants will not specialize in seafood, but will have some great dishes on their menu that are made with fresh fish. The next time you are in your favorite restaurant check out the seafood selections on the menu and give them a try. We sometimes believe that the only place to find good seafood is in a restaurant that specializes in seafood. This causes us to miss some wonderful opportunities to enjoy a good seafood meal in a place that we did not expect.
Many Asian restaurants prepare seafood in a way that is a little bit different than American preparation of the very same fish. The spices used in these dishes will give a different flavor to the seafood while allowing the natural taste of the fish to come through. A seafood restaurant in the Los Angeles area may not be exactly what you thought if you open your mind to new possibilities.
